STEAM Education is a method of teaching and learning that combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math to guide students in inquiry, discussion, and problem-solving. Education experts say STEAM education is more about developing practicals skills.

It also helps students develop the capacity to:

  • Take thoughtful risks

  • Engage in meaningful learning activities

  • Become resilient problem solvers

  • Embrace and appreciate collaboration

  • Work through the creative process

Science
Provides experiences that can stimulate children's curiousity and motivates them to be interested in their environment and the mechanisms of nature which provides them the opportunities to explore, inquire, discover, and construct.

Technology
Helps in the growth of children's creativity, problem solving as well as visual thinking. It can also support the development of your child's learning and skills, such as fine motor skills, colour recognition, eye-hand co-ordination.

Engineering
When children are expose to engineering subjects that encourage creativity, critical thinking, hands-on learning, and experimenation, allowing them to construct a strong learning foundation and boost their intelligence. The engineering processes will encourage children to develop reasoning and executive functioning skills which is beneficial for children who are starting to learn how to make informed decision. Engineering activities are to created help children practice their motor skills and learn how to communicate their ideas.

Art
Allows children to develop their creativity and self-expression, which fosters mental growth by providing opportunities to try new concepts and problem-solving.

Mathematic

Allows children to develop right decision-making ability and problem-solving skills. Math is crucial to early childhood cognitive development that enables children to further develop and create a better adult life by  utilizing a series of smart and logical decision-making processes.

Why STEAM?

STEAM learning encourages children to sharpen their observation skills, discover patterns, predict outcomes, and analyze results. Through this sort of scientific thinking, essential critical thinking skills are instilled which allows them to become better problem solvers.

In education, we've always been working with the belief of teaching to ensure our student get good grades, even though it is ideal but it lacks life.

We are at the point where it is crucial that we encourage learning environments that are dynamic, fluid, and relevant. Our world is the perfect element for studies, beautiful and intricate. Integrating concepts, topics and assessments is a powerful way to demolish the stereotypical way of learning and change the school stereotype.
